Debbie's Amazing Apple Bread Recipe
This quick bread recipe makes a moist, sweet, and delicious apple bread with a crispy crust.
Really fabulous! I added a few more apples just to get rid of all my apples. Doubled the recipe because of all the great reviews. I will definitely make this again.
I wish I had read the reviews. Followed recipe exactly, in proper loaf pan and after the ststed one hour it was goopy in middle. Ended up baking it 30 minutes more. With this many responses regarding the baking time, this recipe should have been checked. I am usually distrustful of internet recipes and I should have known better on this one.
A bit dry, but flavor was great! Definitely add at least 1/2 a cup of sugar less than the recipe calls for. If you dont like the apple bits in the bread I would recommend shredding. I also added ginger and nutmeg in addition to the cinnamon. Smells like fall time!
I love this recipe. I did change a few things... instead of 2 cups white sugar I used 1 1/2 cups white sugar and 1/2 cup of brown sugar, I also substituted pumpkin spice for cinnamon, and coconut oil for vegetable oil. But this recipe was easy to follow, and I will definitely be making it again!!!!
Pretty good, but way too sweet. Also, despite generously greasing the pans with Pam spray, this bread sticks to the bottom every time. If I make it again I would definitely line the pan with aluminum foil; otherwise, you're sure to get a ruined loaf of bread.
Amazing bread! I used half white and half brown sugar...yum! Also used Gala apples (as that's what I had around) and extra cinnamon. I will definitely make this again!! I always wrap my breads in foil within 10 minutes of coming out of the oven. Keeps all that moisture in!
This was fantastic. I used two mini loaf pans. I cut waaaaay down on the sugar using 1/2 cup Brown sugar and about 3/4 cup white. I also added in 1 cup of rhubarb. It's delicious!
This is an average quick bread.
