Three Cheese Manicotti II Recipe
Manicotti shells are baked with ricotta, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses.
Hearty tubes of cooked manicotti are stuffed with an opulent blend of ricotta, mozzarella and Monterey Jack cheese, sour cream, bread crumbs and parsley. Bake the stuffed pasta blanketed with spaghetti sauce and topped with mozzarella cheese.
Cream cheese, plenty of mozzarella and sausage make for a creamy and savory stuffing for the manicotti shells.
Rich and creamy ricotta cheese is combined with mozzarella, beaten egg and spaghetti sauce to make a rich and filling sauce for cooked ziti. Top with Parmesan cheese and bake for a delicious, classic Italian casserole.
I used this cheese mix with Emily's Manicotti Recipe. We all loved the basil in the mix. Very good!
Absolutely my favorite. Everyone asks for me to make it again and again. I've recently started adding some ground italian sausage to give it a little more but it doesn't need it. AMAZING!!
Wow! This was my first time making anything like manicotti and it was a wonderful first-time recipe for me! I made a few changes to what is originally here. I added ground beef to the sauce to give it more protein. I also added another egg to the cheese mix as it seemed a little dry when I mixed it. Per another suggestion on here, I stuffed the manicotti uncooked and added water to the sauce before I cooked it and it turned out great. Everyone that ate with us that night LOVED this meal and the leftovers were almost as good as the original dish! Next time I will try adding Italian Sausage to the sauce for an extra kick!
this was pretty good. my family liked it. i only boiled the manicotti tubes for four minutes and i added some finely chopped spinach to the cheese mixture. other than that, i followed the recipe exactly. very yummy.
