I am not vegan and the last vegan dish I made I added chicken to, as it was definitely lacking something. This dish however stands entirely on its own. I made exactly as stated and it was excellent! Definitely a make again meal!!!
I've been trying to save money on groceries, so I've been trying a lot of vegan recipes. They are all so sorrowful. They taste like depression and fatigue. This one was no exception. We ate it the first night and pretended to like it, but the rest will not be eaten. I am going to try to save money another way.

I will def make this again! Flavor is great. The chick peas(garbanzo beans) were a little crunchy, so I think I will cook them separately next time before adding to the dish.
This is a great recipe. I made no changes to it. It tastes wonderful as is and has become a regular meal for my household.
Great dish for a cold evening. Diced the sweet potato into small chunks. I chose not to add the spinach as I don’t like leftovers with leaves. Paired with basmati rice and fresh warm bread rolls. Delicious.
